In a resounding victory, Democrats have won across the board. Barack Obama is now President! Eric Massa is now Congressman!! And the State Senate is now in the hands of the DEMS!

Tomorrow, students will be proudly showing up to vote on Election Day in the largest numbers this country has seen in decades. College Students want leadership and change and Congressman Randy Kuhl from the NY-29 has not represented our nation's youth during his time in office. Congressman Kuhl has repeatedly voted against increases to student aid that would make the cost of college tuition more affordable and less of a burden on families.

In less then 24 hours the polls will be open and voting will begin to decide the next president of the United States.  Across the state students will be voting and working on campaigns that will change the fundamental course of our country. Please do not forget to vote. In addittion please work on a campaign to get out the vote. Great candidates such as Brian Foley, Joe Addabbo, Joe Mesi, Eric Massa, Alice Kryzan and Barack Obama, need your help to make sure that they win. Without our support, there is no guarantee that we will change the future of the country.

After a long and contentious battle to get Jon Powers off of the WFP line and to get Alice Kryzan on the line, an appellate court judge has ruled that Powers will be off the line and Kryzan will get it.

El Diario, the largest Spanish language newspaper in the Northeast has decided to endorse Councilman joe Addabbo for State Senate. This is one of our best chances to take back a seat in the senate and this endorsement will go far to help. The district that he will represent is 26% Hispanic. If you live near the area please help out the campaign this GOTV weekend.
